Christmas Morning 2010

We had a fun Christmas with the kids. I enjoy watching them open presents and get excited about their gifts. Tayton wasn't sure what to think about unwrapping presents. (I think he didn't want to rip the paper, but wasn't sure how to carefully open the packages) We are grateful we were able to spend time with family and loved ones during this special time of the year.

Trenton's 12th Birthday 12-20-10

Trenton had a few friends over for his birthday party. They played games, ate, played some more and ate some more. I think they all had a good time. It is hard to believe that Trenton is already 12. We love you, Trenton!

Tyler organized a clean up day at the women's shelter and also did a donation drive for them in conjunction with the annual Turkey Bowl. We are very proud of him for finishing his project. I know he is glad it is over, so I will quit nagging him to get it done. It is always a good feeling to help others and give service to the community.

We had a fall festival at the church this year since Halloween was on Sunday. We also took Tavin and Trista out to Conway Commons for a costume contest.

Trista, Tayton and I went to the Pumpkin Patch for her preschool field trip. We had a gorgeous day with NO MUD!!! (The past three years have been so muddy, we were all a mess) We enjoyed picking a pumpkin, learning about pumpkins, petting some animals, a hayride and a picnic lunch!! We had a fun day!

Tayton was blessed today. We had lots of family here to celebrate his special day. We missed those who wanted to be here but couldn't come. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful opportunity to gather together. Trevor was also ordained to a Priest today! What a special day for our family!!

Trevor's 16th birthday Oct 3rd

Trevor turned 16 on Oct 3rd!!!!! He also had a few friends over to help him celebrate. It was an extremely busy weekend, so not everyone could come. He got a new game for his micro, new jeans, a nice dress shirt, new shoes, and MONEY!! I can't believe I have two boys old enough to drive and date!!! We love you Trevor!!

Tavin's 7th birthday Oct 7th

Tavin turned 7!!! He wanted a watch and a whoopi cushion!!! He also wanted "breakfast" for dinner and reeces brownies for dessert!!! We love you Tavin!!

First Day of School August 19, 2010

Two weeks after having baby Tayton, the five oldest kids went off to school. Tyler is a Senior, Trevor is a Sophomore, Trenton is a 6th grader, Tori is a 5th grader and Tavin is in 1st grade. Trista will do preschool with mom at home and help take care of our new baby!!
