We had a busy Thanksgiving Day, as usual. Robby and the boys were up early to put up flags in the community, then Turkey Bowl for the guys and cooking for the girls!!!, and then we went up to Rose Bud to see Robby's parents and some of his family. We had a yummy lunch and lots of goodies. Then Trista asked Grandpa for a ride on his motorcycle. She absolutely loves to ride on the motorcycles. Since he has a couple (LOL) he got out several and the little kids all got rides around the house. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was great to spend time with family. I am so thankful for my fabulous husband, six beautiful, healthy children, and ALL the many, many blessings in my life!!!!!

Our girl scout troop has bridged from Brownies to Juniors. We have started out the year with lots of fun, already. We took some of the girls to the Holiday Ice skating performance where we saw REO Speedwagon and Rick Springfield LIVE and watched Brian Boitano, Michael Weiss, and others. It was a fun evening and we really enjoyed the show!!!!!

I realize that Halloween was last month, but life is so busy I don't have time to keep it updated. Oh well, I will get around to it eventually!!!! Tonya and her family came to spend Halloween weekend with us. We had lots of fun with 10 kids in the house. We had a Fall Festival at the church on Friday night and then we went to Tyler's football game and then of course, Halloween the kids all dressed up and went Trick or Treating!!!! Everyone had lots of fun and got yummy candy!!!!!!

We have been very involved with football this year. Tyler is the punter at Friday night games and has been playing Safety at the JV games on Monday nights. We are proud of him and enjoy watching him play. Here are some action shots from the past few games. We are so busy with football that I don't even have time to blog about it. Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Trista and I went to the Pumpkin Patch and farm this week for her preschool field trip. We had a good time and got very muddy.....good thing Trista "went out with her boots on"! We had a fun day.

Trevor and Tavin's Birthdays!!!!

Trevor turned 15 on Oct 3rd and Tavin turned 6 on Oct 7th!!! I asked Tavin if he felt any older and his reply was " Yeah, I think my voice is a little deeper, today!" I didn't bust up laughing at the moment but have found several opportunities to get a good laugh about his feelings on what it means to feel older. Gotta love things kids say!!

Trista's hair cut!!!!

No, she didn't do it this time, I did! As most of you know, Trista cut her own hair in February and I have been trying to let it grow out. I didn't want to cut it because I was afraid she would loose all her pretty curls, but she still has some curl/wave to it. (thank goodness) She said she wanted short hair, and I told her that would mean cutting off her curls and she said I want short hair. I had to give myself a few days to make sure I wouldn't regret it and then I finally did it on Saturday night. I think it is cute and am happy with it.
