Cub Scout Raingutter Regatta

Trenton had a pack meeting last night and the cub scouts raced their sailboats. It is kind of like the Pinewood Derby but with boats in raingutters instead of cars on a track. All the boys had a good time with that and then we had banana split boats for refreshments!!! Very yummy and it was fun to go along with the theme of the pack meeting. Some of the kids also played volleyball for a little bit. The weather was very pleasant to be outside for the evening and we all had a good time!!!!

Everyone Loves Grandpa's "BIKE"

Everyone loved getting rides on Grandpa's motorcycle. Trista absolutely loved it and kept asking to have a ride during the week that it was here. She was so cute all propped up and enjoying herself as Rob took them around our neighborhood. Trenton and Trevor wore the helmet because they thought it was cool. Fun times and making memories that they won't forget.

Day at Petit Jean State Park

Our "ride" for the day. Thanks to Dad Burton!!

On the hiking trail
The "Grotto" where we hiked to and had our picnic. We waded in the pool with lots of crawdads. I thought they were going to bite my toes, but they didn't!!

Rob and I took a motorcycle ride and went to Petit Jean State Park. We went for a hike to a pretty little waterfall into a little pool of water, had a picnic lunch, saw some beautiful scenery, and had a good day!!!

Our Children

I need these pictures of them all dressed up and sitting still and looking quite innocent, well maybe not innocent, but on best behavior, to remind me that I am blessed to have SIX beautiful, healthy, happy children. I love you all very much!

Mom and Dad's Cabin

Looking up the stairs to the loft.

from the loft

Mom and Dad are building a cabin that is adorable. We helped a little by putting up some insulation so they can finish the walls, and get ready to move in! It is coming along nicely and has such a nice rustic look to it. I love it!

Trip to Green Forest

Some of us worked harder than others!! But we were grateful for all the help because it took everyone to accomplish what we did!

MOM and DAD

Aunt Mary Ann

We went to Green Forest for a visit and to help do some work. We helped haul limbs, branches, mow, weedeat, paint Granny's house, etc. We had a good time and were able to make some progress also. We had fun playing, working, and being with family. It was a great weekend and everyone enjoyed it.

Fighting at our house!!

The kids were able to "fight" and not get into trouble by putting on pads, first. LOL Not sure if that really makes it okay or not? They had a good time and I just had to let them do it and not worry about it too much. They all wanted a turn to go at it, even Trista got in there and had some fun.
